Public Access Test
Government Approved Assessor
Behaviour and Obedience Test
The Public Access Test is a formal assessment designed to evaluate whether an assistance dog is safe, reliable, and well-mannered in public settings. This test ensures that the dog can accompany their handler into public spaces while remaining under control and displaying calm, predictable behaviour at all times. It is a critical step in verifying the team’s readiness for real-world scenarios where high levels of obedience, emotional stability, and trust between dog and handler are essential.
